Circadian Rhythms by Susie Ibarra, a new commission by Rennssalear Polytech Institute for Earth Day to be performed by 13 percussion ensembles. Ibarra is a 2012-2013 artist in residence with RPI. April 19, 20, 2013 includes Sensing Environments, an Environmental Symposium connected to Earth Day Events at RPI.

Young People’s Chorus of New York City directed by Francisco Nunez, record and premiere 4 composers new works for their Radio Radiance Broadcast, 2013. Susie Ibarra and Yusef Komunyakaa compose and write a new song titled, The City, which has the city dreaming itself back to stars and stardust.

Electric Kulintang releases new music on SOTBK Music in 2013 of a trilogy of recordings featuring a sound poem War Horses with poetry by Yusef Komunyakaa , Drum Codes new electronic record with compositions by Ibarra and Rodriguez , and Hidden Truths: Prayer for a Forgotten World, a DVD surround sound 5.1 composition by Ibarra. SOTBK Music will release the music digitally and limited hard copy CD and LP.
Susie Ibarra pairs up with iconic composer/improviser/accordionist Pauline Oliveros in the studio for a duet recording with sound engineer Bob Bielecki to be released in 2013.
Rodriguez groundbreaking Orquesta Sarabia makes its recording debut 2013 on SOTBK playing the works of Rodriguez, Zorn , Medioni, el Harachi
Circadian Rhythms composed by Susie Ibarra , a World Drum Project for Earth Day April 21, 2013 commission by Renssalear Polytech Institute and produced with Sensing Environments Symposium led by Michael Century, Kathy High of the Electronic Media Arts and Kim Fortun of Sustainability Task Force of RPI. This multi day event consists of a symposium on environmental sustainability and music composed for outdoor and indoor events. Ibarra composes a new work, Circadian Rhythms, for 15 college, highschool and community percussion ensembles for a world premiere at RPI in the concert hall at EMPAC

Digital Sanctuaries, an urban soundwalk to be set as digital public art with a mobile app brings music composed by Electric Kulintang commissioned and produced by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council for the River to River Festival 2013. The music of the soundwalk will be accessed in each historic site and offer interactive elements of mixing and posting music during the walk. A modular piece to be reimagined in cities will make its inaugural premiere along side 4 live concerts by Electric Kulintang summer 2013.
Ibarra continues to collaborate with Tarek Atoui’s Arabic Tarab music project composing and performing music inspired by classical Arabic Tarab music in the projects Revisiting Tarab in Sharjah, La Suite in London and upcoming in Tasmania June 2013.
