Digital Sanctuaries, NYC is an urban music mobile app walk that brings 12 sanctuaries of music to 12 historic sites in Lower Manhattan. Digital Sanctuaries, NYC invites the public to join on a virtual pilgrimage through the built environment of a cityscape, discovering meditative spaces in unexpected places, marked by an ever-changing musical score. As the audience engages with the music in each place, they are encouraged to discover the hidden qualities of the world.

I’m happy to be invited to perform a residency of music at NYC’s lower east side venue, The Stone. In rare occasion, I’m going to play what I call a 12 set music meditation for 6 nights , where I don’t repeat myself.  I’m really lucky to play with all of these stellar musicians and poets.  Its all small ensemble music – chamber jazz , electronic, world, percussion ensemble, first meeting duet improvisations and I end with solo music. If you are in NYC , hope to see you!
See for the full schedule.

If you are in LA this weekend, I would love to invite you out to the premiere and screening of

The Cotabato Sessions at the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, Saturday May 10th @ 5:30pm.

Thank you again to all of you who kickstarted and funded the post production to help make this happen! The official release of the digital album and film.

Will keep you all posted for the NYC release and screening in late July this summer!
