She is the founder of Susie Ibarra Studio and Sound Health Habitat, a cultural studio and journal that focuses on sharing and supporting listening health practices, global soundwalks, acoustic ecology focused on climate, and eco-friendly and sustainable global music practices. She is passionate about supporting fresh water sources, and cultural & environmental preservation for next generations.
Rhythm in Nature dives into the studio and onto the field with percussionist, composer and sound artist Susie Ibarra. In this narrative Ibarra shares her studies and explorations and her practice guide to discovering rhythm daily in the world of birdsongs, glacial freshwater, oceans, deserts, canyons and resonance, forest and insects.
